Christamore Court Secures PILOT Approval from Indianapolis City Council

T&H is proud to announce a major achievement for the Christamore Court Apartments. On Monday, Roy Marschke presented to the Indianapolis City Council’s Economic Development Committee, resulting in unanimous approval of a PILOT (Payment in Lieu of Taxes) for the project.

This approval marks a significant milestone—only five PILOTs have been granted citywide so far this year, and Christamore Court is honored to be among them.

What is a PILOT?
A Payment in Lieu of Taxes (PILOT) agreement allows a project to be exempt from traditional property taxes, instead making agreed-upon payments that support the community while easing the financial burden on the development. This approval directly supports T&H’s mission by strengthening operational sustainability and helping to maintain rent affordability for residents.

We congratulate Roy Marschke for his leadership and successful presentation, and we recognize this as a noteworthy accomplishment for both the Christamore Court team and the broader T&H family.
