Professional Experience

Jana Hageman founded T&H Investments and T&H Construction with the core focus of improving lives by solving community needs with innovative housing. Prior to starting T&H, Jana was a real estate attorney at Bose McKinney and Evans and practiced in their Real Estate Law Group. An entrepreneur at heart, she left Bose to pursue community development and has been an owner/developer of over $500 million in commercial real estate projects including multi family, student, affordable, workforce, and mixed-use projects. Jana’s true passion is working with communities to develop affordable housing. In her current role as President of T&H, she helps communities turn blighted real estate into thriving communities for low-income families, seniors, and people suffering from homelessness. T&H’s goal is to provide 10,000 families an exceptional and affordable place to live by 2030.

Midatlantic

St. Elizabeths East

St. Elizabeth’s East was developed by T&H owner Duane Miller and consists of 252 mixed-income rental housing units at the CT Campus. This historic adaptive reuse project was made possible by the District of Columbia, the Anacostia Economic Development Corporation, Flaherty & Collins Properties, and Red Brick, LLC. The project also includes 13 permanent supportive housing units to be serviced by Community Connections.
