Professional Experience

Tripp Walker joined T&H in April 2023 as a Preconstruction Manager, bringing a robust educational background and a meticulous approach to his work. He holds Bachelor's degrees in Biology and Biochemistry from Indiana University—East which underpin his analytical and detail-oriented nature. Before joining T&H, Tripp served as a Preconstruction Engineer for TWG, where he honed his skills in the critical early phases of construction projects.

Tripp's greatest strength lies in his unwavering attention to detail, a trait that is essential in both laboratory work and finish carpentry. This precision is crucial when reviewing drawings, creating budgets, writing scopes, and reviewing bids, as even the smallest oversight can have significant consequences. Tripp's calm and focused demeanor allows him to manage the pressures of the preconstruction phase effectively, ensuring that projects are set up for success from the outset.

In addition to his detail-oriented nature, Tripp excels at problem-solving. He employs the OODA loop (Observe, Orient, Decide, Act) to address challenges objectively and find effective solutions. This methodical approach enables him to navigate the complexities of multiple projects, each at different stages and presenting unique challenges, without the work ever becoming monotonous.

Tripp's notable projects include serving as Assistant Superintendent during the construction of the Axis in downtown Indianapolis, as well as being part of the preconstruction team on projects in Minnesota, North Carolina, and Oklahoma, all of which presented distinct challenges and required adaptive problem-solving skills.

Outside of work, Tripp enjoys comedy and values spending quality time with his family. He is also passionate about outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and shooting sports.
